Coinbase x Riot Games: Future Shot

Coinbase x Riot Games: Future Shot
In this fast-paced 90 second challenge, players are armed with glowing ball “arrows” and must hit illuminated targets in an immersive audiovisual archery range, testing their reaction time, accuracy, and focus. With limited shots and a ticking clock, players must tag as many targets as possible before their ability runs out.
Combining a dynamic pressure target system, reactive audio powered by our proprietary AI system, custom printed bows, and a layered scenic background, we created an immersive experience that rides the fine line of nostalgia and novelty.
Using machine-learning cameras on Touch Designer, we were able to track player position and output dynamic soundtracks that reacted to game performance—creating an experience that evolved with each new match.

Taking over Valorant Champions '25
Launching Coinbase's longterm partnership with Riot Games, we brought our immersive gaming experience to Valorant's world championship at the Accor Arena in Paris.

AI Reactive Soundtrack
We developed an AI audio system that reactively generates and arranges bespoke stems to create a unique soundtrack—one that responds to player performance and is influenced by both Twitch viewership and real-time weather data.
Custom Bows
We fabricated futuristic bows that shoot balls with a slingshot system, allowing for pick-up-and-play experiences.
Multisystem Game Design
With game backgrounds built in Cinema4D, interactivity in Unity, and camera systems with reactive facade content in Touch Designer, we built an experience inside a crossplatform ecosystem.
