The Story
In the summer of 2021, Sweet and NHL reached out to us to help design and develop an immersive, web-based experience for a new digital marketplace. A half year later, we’re excited to launch the beta for NHL Breakaway: the next-gen, officially licensed digital collectibles and highlights experience.
Creative Direction
Tasked with creating an experience that bridged web3 ecomm with gaming, we wanted to design a platform that looked and felt like a video game but applied to the web. What resulted was a dynamic, interactive marketplace that made collecting as engaging as the sport itself.
