Powder Haven

Powder Haven
A digital home serving as an invitation to explore being a part of an exceptional community on world-class recreational terrain.
The Story
Powder Haven is home to ongoing high-end luxury real estate developments, and a private-ski community spread across 12,000 acres of the serene Wasatch Mountains. The web experience for Powder Haven is a place where the digital presence has to carry the same restraint and elegance as the land itself. Excetera designed and built the Powder Haven website from the ground up, and led a full redesign as the community itself evolved, expanding through new terrain, new amenities, and a growing roster of neighborhoods.
The challenge was translating an experience that's fundamentally physical, private skiing, alpine real estate, land art, into something a prospective homeowner or member could navigate before ever setting foot on the mountain. That meant designing for a lot of registers at once: real estate detail dense enough for a prospective buyer to take interest, editorial press coverage from outlets like Vogue, GQ Sports, and The Wall Street Journal woven in as social proof, and enough visual restraint that the mountains, homes, and community not the interface, stayed the subject.
The redesign carried this further, refining the site's structure and content system to keep pace with a community in active growth: highlighting new terrain like Davenport, and DMI, a complete Digital Twin of Powder Haven’s tenure, new amenities like the 73,000-square-foot Arclodge clubhouse, and an expanding footprint of neighborhoods including Prado, Shelter Hill, and Copper Crest.
Excetera continues to maintain and evolve the site as part of a broader engagement spanning Powder Haven, Powder Mountain, and the Powder Art Foundation, ensuring all three properties tell one coherent story.
